My goal is to match your rehab to your demands. Your rehab will look a lot like your goal, matching the required mechanics, strength, speed, and intensity.
As a movement optimist, I firmly believe that there are no inherently 'bad' exercises. Often, a painful exercises is simply too intense for us to tolerate right now. My approach is to help you find a tolerable starting point, then progress the exercise until you are doing exactly what your goal is, whether it is a certain weight or movement or sport activity.
I use this exact same approach for sports. When working with athletes, I perform a 'needs analysis' for their specific sport.
This analysis gives me a lens into the biomechanical needs of that sport, which gives me targets to scale and train so that you can acquire and improve the traits necessary to excel and perform to your highest capability.
